Advanced Researcher in Infectious Diseases

As a molecular scientist, you will play a pivotal role in the diagnosis of infectious diseases through the identification of unique DNA or RNA. Working in state-of-the-art laboratories, you will be part of a team that provides diagnostic and consultative services to medical specialists and general practitioners.
About the RoleThe Molecular Pathology laboratory is responsible for detecting microorganisms using techniques such as PCR (polymerase chain reaction). This allows for rapid, sensitive, and specific diagnosis of infectious diseases from bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include working evening shifts, public holidays, and/or weekends.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform molecular testing for infectious diseases using PCR and other techniques.
- Analyze test results to identify unique DNA or RNA patterns.
- Collaborate with medical specialists and general practitioners to provide diagnostic and consultative services.
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
