Job Title: AI Quality Assurance Specialist

This role requires rigorous testing of AI systems against core journalistic principles using real-world news content and scenarios.

  • Conduct comprehensive testing to evaluate AI tool performance and reliability.
  • Assess AI responses against editorial guidelines, checking for factual accuracy and contextual relevance.
  • Partner with the AI Prompt Engineer to provide detailed feedback that refines system performance.
  • Design and execute regression testing procedures as AI models evolve.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of journalistic principles and ethics, with experience in QA and media or technology environments. Exceptional analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Real-World Testing: Conduct thorough testing using authentic news content and scenarios to evaluate AI tool performance and reliability.
  • Output Validation: Assess AI responses against editorial guidelines, ensuring factual accuracy, contextual relevance, and ethical compliance.
  • Collaborative Enhancement: Work with the AI Prompt Engineer to provide actionable feedback that improves system performance.
  • Quality Assurance Protocols: Design and execute regression testing procedures as AI models evolve.
  • Standards Advocacy: Champion quality best practices and uphold the integrity of AI-assisted journalism across all deployments.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of journalistic principles and ethics.
  • Proven QA experience in media, technology, or content-focused environments.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with methodical approach to testing.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills and collaborative working style.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and NLP (advantageous).
