Senior Hydraulic Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Consultant to join our Building Services team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering hydraulic design solutions to clients across a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake hydraulic design through calculations and analysis to provide solutions to clients.
  • Use your experience to deliver projects and manage client relationships, consulting with stakeholders on key project drivers.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary Engineers on major projects and develop and mentor junior engineers.
  • Support the national Hydraulics team on various projects, enhancing your skill set and technical knowledge.
  • Be involved in design services including rainwater harvesting, sanitary plumbing and drainage, trade waste drainage, and more.
Requirements:
  • Relevant TAFE Qualification or Engineering Degree with QBCC / RPEQ (or working towards).
  • Ideally, 6 + years' experience in a consulting environment with exposure to Australian standards and codes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Full working knowledge of the MS Office suite with exposure to relevant industry software.
  • Australian Citizenship (or on the pathway) is highly preferred.
