Key Job Responsibilities:
Statutory Accounting and Tax Compliance: As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will take the lead in preparing statutory accounts and tax returns, including year-end audits, income tax, and fringe-benefit tax returns. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Financial Control Framework Support: You will provide crucial support to our financial control framework during an IT transformation project, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
Monthly Reconciliation and Reporting: Perform month-end tasks, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and investigate reporting variances. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in identifying and resolving issues.
Team Collaboration and Development: Mentor and collaborate with junior accountants, building a strong accounting foundation across all divisions. Communicate complex financial information effectively, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
Stakeholder Engagement and Financial Reporting: Contribute to monthly stakeholder meetings, assisting in the ongoing accrual posting process. Adhere to a rigorous financial reporting timetable, working collaboratively with the team to ensure timely deliverables.
