Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to provide tailored therapy services in clients' homes, offering diverse support.

  • Deliver high-quality OT services to adults with disabilities, chronic disease, and complex care needs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong time management and organisational skills, autonomous assessment capabilities, and current AHPRA registration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visiting clients at home for assessments and interventions, designing intervention programs to achieve meaningful goals.
  • Conducting comprehensive home modification assessments, from basic to complex solutions.
  • Assisting clients in finding suitable assistive technology solutions.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with support coordinators, local area coordinators, and equipment suppliers.
  • Producing clear reports documenting client progress, outcomes, and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience or interest in OT services for adults with disabilities, chronic disease, and complex care needs.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to manage a flexible caseload.
  • The ability to complete autonomous home and community-based assessments and interventions following an extensive onboarding program.
  • A reliable car and driver's license for visiting clients in their homes.
  • Current NDISWC/WCWC (or willingness to apply).
