About this role:

We are seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing learning support to students in mainstream classes and/or in our SPARC Program.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure each student receives the necessary support to actively participate in school and class.

This is a rewarding experience that will see you make a tangible difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing individualized support to students with diverse needs
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support student learning

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support or willingness to study towards one
  • Passion for supporting students with disabilities
  • Effective collaboration skills with teachers, students, and support staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
