Education Support Role:
">We are seeking a skilled and experienced Education Support professional to fill this role in Melbourne.
">This part-time ongoing position involves working 9am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
">The successful applicant will perform tasks under supervision and direction, including coordinating other education support staff within the work area or educational program.
">Responsibilities:
">- Supports teachers with planning student routines
- Assists communication between teachers and parents
- Communicates with teachers on routine matters related to students
- Provides basic care and wellbeing support for students
- Communicates with students to enhance comprehension of tasks and information
- Addresses immediate behavioural presentations relating to specific students
- Provides basic support and supervision for individuals or groups of up to 4 students
- Supports teachers in coordinating educational programs independently or under minimal supervision
Selection Criteria:
">- Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Effective communication skills within a team environment
- Possess relevant technical knowledge and expertise
- Capacity to provide advice and support to management and school staff
- Commitment to professional growth and development
