Education Support Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Support Officer to join our team at a secondary college.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing support to students with additional needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), hearing impairment, English as an Additional Language (EAL) background, Indigenous background, and Out of Home Care.
You will work closely with teaching staff to implement strategies outlined in individual education plans or personal learning goals for students in the classroom.
This is an identified position available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants only. To be considered, applicants must identify as Koorie (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander).
About You- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of child safety standards and protocols
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds and needs
You will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Check and provide a copy of your qualifications.
