Ensuring Exceptional Guest Experiences
About the Role:The role of a guest room attendant is to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms, providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests. The key responsibility is to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and presentation in all areas of the hotel.
- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
- Complete pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen setup.
- Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
- Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean and vacuumed.
- Restock housekeeping carts for the next day.
- Replenish chemical bottles.
- Report missing items and maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
- Ensure guest satisfaction.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- The ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently is required.
- Stamina to stand throughout the shift is necessary.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
