Technical Operations Coordinator for Melbourne Orchestra

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Technical Operations Coordinator to join our team at Orchestra Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with musicians, artistic staff, contractors, and the wider team to deliver high-quality events.
The successful candidate will have technical percussion and orchestral knowledge, be able to work on their own initiative, take on responsibility, and contribute to a small team working to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the technical percussion operations of performances and other activities
- Collaborate with musicians, artistic staff, and contractors to ensure seamless event delivery
- Take ownership of tasks and projects, working independently and as part of a team
- Technical percussion and orchestral knowledge
- Ability to work on their own initiative and take on responsibility
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- A competitive salary package: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience
