
Senior Public Policy Advisor

As a vital member of the Marketing and Corporate Affairs team, you will play a key role in shaping our corporate affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies to enhance our reputation and influence.
This is an opportunity to work closely with government, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to shape public policy and protect our interests through strategic engagement and policy development.
Main Responsibilities:- Strategic & Corporate Affairs Support
- You will contribute to the development of corporate affairs strategies that improve our reputation and influence.
- You will track performance metrics and support planning aligned to key priorities and campaigns.
- Research & Analysis
- You will conduct policy analysis and assess the political landscape to inform decision-making.
- You will analyse the impact of regulatory changes on our operations and stakeholders.
- Parliamentary & Scheduling Support
- You will monitor parliamentary schedules and hearings relevant to our interests.
- You will assist in preparing executives for parliamentary inquiries and government engagements.
- Policy & Government Engagement
- You will develop public policy positions and respond to government inquiries across a portfolio of issues.
- You will prepare high-quality briefs for executive meetings and parliamentary appearances.
- You will monitor political and policy developments to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- You will build and maintain relationships with regulators, government agencies, industry associations, media outlets, and community organisations.
- You will support senior team members in managing political stakeholder relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate affairs, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
