Property and Casualty Placement Director

We are seeking a senior member to join our Australian Property and Casualty Broking/Placement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing placement requirements, developing new markets, and converting prospects.

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in Property and Casualty broking and servicing complex clients, as well as market advocacy skills, excel at client/carrier relationship development. They will also have relevant qualifications and commercial acumen, in-depth knowledge of Property and Casualty products and classes enabling exceptional service delivery.

The Role Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on access points for key insurers, balance placements between markets for sustainability and optimum pricing.
  • Set and drive broking strategy with client relationship directors, servicers and advocates.
  • Assist in driving strategy for tender responses and represent broking in client and insurer presentations.
  • Support client servicers in managing expectations.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
  • Market advocacy skills, excellent client/carrier relationship development, considerable experience in Property and Casualty broking and servicing complex clients.
  • Relevant qualifications, commercial acumen, in-depth knowledge of Property and Casualty products and classes enabling exceptional service delivery.
  • Strategic thinking, leadership, ownership, collaborative qualities, strong technical and analytical capabilities.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, drive, ambition, focus on excellence.
