About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and driven individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate will have a passion for machinery and the construction industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Key responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the depot, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and stored, and providing exceptional customer service to both existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the depot/showroom
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, function tested, fueled, and stored appropriately for pick-up and drop-offs
- Receive incoming equipment, conduct off-hire checklists, and cooperate with the workshop to assist with processing for inspections and servicing
- Provide excellent face-to-face and phone customer service to both existing and new clients
Requirements
- Driver's license required
- Forklift license desirable
- Previous yard/depot experience and/or knowledge of machinery/tools and construction equipment
- Effective communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work within a team in a busy environment and provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients
- Ability and willingness to learn all aspects of the equipment and machinery and further progress in your career
- Willingness to work 2 weekends a month and enjoy 2-week days off
Culture

You will not be treated like a number, and due to the diversity of the role, no two days will be the same. Hourly rate $30-$37 (negotiable based on experience) + super, uniforms, performance review at 3 months.
