We are seeking to establish a pool of Digital Technologies Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Como Secondary College is seeking a highly motivated and effective Digital Technologies Teachers. The suitable applicants should demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding to teach Digital Technologies. Suitable applicants will ideally have recent experience teaching Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) units and be able to thoroughly implement the requirements of the Years 7 to 10 Western Australian Curriculum. The ability to teach in a second learning area is highly desirable.

The suitable applicants will ideally be committed to promoting and fostering student engagement and academic achievement in a supportive environment where success is celebrated. The suitable applicants will ideally exhibit high standards of professionalism and will embrace opportunities for collaboration within the college community and neighbouring schools.

The suitable applicants for this position will ideally be student and relationship focused, innovative and motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in team environments. You will ideally possess the professional knowledge, understandings and experience to develop and implement an engaging and relevant secondary Digital Technologies curriculum. Ideally, you will exhibit a commitment to excellence in teaching and engage in regular self-reflection. Another key attribute is the ability to create environments conducive to learning and provide educational opportunities that are purposeful and relevant.

• consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
