Empowerment Specialist

As an Empowerment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals to take control of their financial futures by delivering comprehensive financial literacy education and support.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' financial situations, considering cultural, social, and mental health factors.
  • Design and deliver tailored financial literacy programs for diverse client groups, promoting financial capability and well-being.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors and health professionals to provide holistic support and guidance.
  • Promote the program through effective communication and stakeholder engagement, building strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate records and data in our client management system, ensuring seamless tracking and evaluation.
  • Engage in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and expertise.

Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Community Services Work or higher.
  • CHCEDU005 – Delivering Financial Literacy Education.
  • CHCEDU006 – Improving Clients' Financial Skills.
  • CHCEDU007 – Providing Group Education on Consumer Credit and Debt.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Experience in financial literacy, facilitation, or group work.
