We are seeking a highly skilled Security Coordinator to join our team. This is a critical role that requires exceptional leadership and strategic thinking.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of security professionals in providing high-level services to the public transport network. This includes establishing and maintaining governance arrangements, providing expert advice on security arrangements, monitoring the security environment, and coordinating intelligence reporting and operational support.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant qualifications in the security sector, a National Police Check, and a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the safety and security of South Australia's public transport system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement public transport security policies and procedures
  • Provide expert security advice to stakeholders
  • Monitor and respond to security threats and incidents
  • Coordinate regular security briefings and training sessions

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., security, law enforcement, criminology)
  • Relevant industry certifications and qualifications
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
