About this role:

Job Description

This is a senior leadership position that oversees the development and implementation of innovative campaigns where public relations, influencer marketing, and earned-first strategies intersect.

The ideal candidate will lead major accounts, foster creative ideas, and deliver impactful results across public relations and ambassador programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic campaign plans for projects and annual programs, incorporating earned and influencer media outreach.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing timely updates and counsel on media and influencer management.
  • Advise clients on the optimal use of public relations, influencer, and social media for program amplification.
  • Oversee junior team members in implementing PR and influencer strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Participate in the creative ideation process and develop PR/influencer tactics, collaborating with production teams to deliver campaign assets.
  • Manage client finances and scopes for both projects and retained work, in conjunction with the Account Director.
  • Drive forward-thinking influencer strategy and engagement.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices in integrated communications, applying them as relevant to clients.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer public relations and influencer marketing, with a solid understanding of communication principles and techniques.
  • A deep working knowledge of media across all channels, including digital and social, and an active network of media contacts.
  • A strong grasp of local trends and news impacting the PR industry, clients, or programs.
  • Excellent public speaking/presentation skills, with experience in new business pitching a plus.
  • Strong time management skills, financial acumen, and attention to detail.
