**Agriculture Technician Role**

We are seeking a skilled Agriculture Technician to join our team. As an Agriculture Technician, you will be responsible for undertaking repairs and maintenance to agricultural vehicles and equipment.

Your duties will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance services on vehicles and equipment, diagnosing faults in diesel engines, transmissions, and mechanical parts.
  • Dismantling and repairing engines, transmissions, and mechanical parts, testing and diagnosing vehicles and equipment for operational efficiency.
  • Undertaking regular inspections of farm equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Maintaining an inventory of spare parts, ordering replacements as required.
  • Monitoring field operations to identify problems with vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
  • Reporting any maintenance or quality issues to the Farm Manager.

Requirements:

  • A trade qualification plus at least 2 years of relevant experience, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in machinery maintenance and/or mechanical maintenance.
  • Intermediate to advanced mechanical knowledge and experience working with large-scale agricultural machinery.
  • An unrestricted Class C Drivers Licence is essential.
  • A Forklift Licence is essential.

  • The ability and willingness to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.
