The Wireless and Special Coverage Solutions team at Ventia is seeking a Subcontractor Management Specialist to support various scopes of work. This pivotal role is essential for the effective execution of Ventia's Wireless construction initiatives, focusing on the administrative management of subcontractor onboarding, inquiry handling, compliance verification, and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for subcontractors, ensuring all necessary documentation, including insurance certificates and licenses, is collected.
  • Act as the intermediary between Project Teams and Deployment teams to solicit quotations from top-performing subcontractors for construction tasks.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with both organizational and client-specific standards, maintaining alignment with safety, health, environmental, and quality protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with internal compliance frameworks and systems to confirm that subcontractors meet all essential criteria for construction activities on-site.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of compliance frameworks related to subcontractor management, including Risk Management and Quality Management.
  • Conduct regular reviews of subcontractor documentation to ensure ongoing adherence to insurance, qualification, and training mandates.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to promptly address any compliance discrepancies or issues.
  • Provide consistent reporting and documentation of compliance status to internal stakeholders and clients as necessary.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and experience as a Project Administrator within the Telecommunications or Construction sectors.

You should also demonstrate:

  • Proven expertise in subcontractor coordination and compliance management within the construction or telecommunications field.
  • A strong grasp of compliance frameworks and processes pertinent to subcontractor oversight.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail coupled with robust organizational capabilities.
  • The capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities concurrently, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software for document management and compliance tracking.
