Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Instrument Technician to lead our Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) team. As a key member of our Perioperative leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the CSSD and ensuring the highest standards of sterilization and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and supervision to the instrument technician team
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with sterilization standards
  • Collaborate with the Perioperative leadership team to ensure the needs and services of our consumers are met
  • Ensure the CSSD operates efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality and patient safety
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Sterilization Services
  • 4 years' experience as an Instrument Technician (full-time equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in all areas of CSSD at an advanced level and provide leadership
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing issues and negotiate timeframes, while providing a quality customer service
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
