**The Opportunity**:
Veolia ANZ is seeking an E&I Technician to join our East Rockingham ‘Waste to Energy’ team. Be a part of the first projects of their kind in Australia

As an E&I Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment repairs and plant maintenance are completed to the highest of standard and to ensure the plant and utilities are fully optimised. You will also have opportunities to execute maintenance scheduling and supervise contractors during outage periods.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Complete preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and equipment including generators, transformers, instrumentation and PLC’s.
- Troubleshooting electrical components and control systems
- Propose and develop modifications to plant and equipment where appropriate
- Demonstrate understanding and compliance within the health & safety, environmental and quality systems
- Work closely with operations and other maintenance staff to ensure all works are completed
- Promote a preventative maintenance and continuous improvement culture throughout the plant and amongst the wider team.

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- WA A-Grade Electrical licence
- Certificate III/IV in Instrumentation
- HV Switching Operator Competency
- Proven experience working with a CMMS system
- Construction White Card
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of current WHS legislation and safe working systems
- Driver’s licence and own transport
- Be able to complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance.
