We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Publications Manager to join our Hunter Class Frigate program in Melbourne, Vic or Adelaide, SA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technical authors, illustrators, and multi-media experts to develop and deliver program-specific deliverables.
  • Collaborate with maintenance analysts, engineering, and other key contributors to deliver high-quality publications.
  • Review, proofread, and edit publications to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage cost, schedule, and workload allocation across the team.
  • Develop and implement innovative technical publication solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop capability and domain expertise.
  • Identify skill set requirements and resource recruitment needs.
About You
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large and complex technical projects and leading teams.
  • Background in supporting engineering management, test & validation, safety analysis, and asset management.
  • Experience in writing policies and procedures, data management, technical writing, and illustration services.
  • Demonstrated understanding of S1000D.
  • Experience working in a team environment on complex multidisciplinary projects.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks under pressure and time constraints.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and confidence dealing with all levels of management and personnel.
  • Exposure to structured authoring tools.
