The Ideal Candidate:

The Customer Service Officer will report directly to the Transport Shift Manager and Team Leader. As a Casual Employee working 20+ hours per week, this role offers potential for permanent employment in the future.

This role requires providing excellent customer service, direction, and information to passengers and commercial partners on and around our roadways pickup and drop-off areas.

Responsibilities include guiding passengers to the correct locations, allocating taxis to departing customers, administering first aid when required, and overseeing traffic management to ensure a seamless landside operation experience.

To succeed in this position, applicants must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and move continually for shifts lasting between 5-8 hours, starting from 4 am and finishing as late as midnight.

Candidates should possess good Monday-to-Sunday availability and be prepared to work at short notice when needed.

As part of this role, employees can expect to walk between 5,000 and 25,000 steps per shift. Providing clear and concise information while maintaining a calm demeanor is essential, along with using handheld radios effectively.

  4. Ability to follow instructions as necessary
  5. Capacity to work collaboratively and harmoniously with colleagues and supervisors
  6. Commitment to adhering to corporate policies and procedures, particularly OH&S
  7. Current full driver's license
  8. Willingness to work rotating shifts, any shift, and weekend shifts
  9. First Aid certification (training can be provided)
  10. A Police check and Airport ASIC card will be required

Audited Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per annum
