About Our Opportunity:

  • Support undergraduate classes in human anatomy by providing expert technical assistance.
  • Ensure safety and compliance across the university campus by identifying potential hazards, reporting incidents, and participating in regular audits and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching outcomes through preparation of anatomical materials, dissections, and allocation of cadaveric resources while maintaining strict security and regulatory protocols.
  • Contribute to the delivery of exceptional anatomical education and laboratory operations by dissecting and prosecting cadaveric material, embalming donor bodies, and applying specialized specimen preparation techniques.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment by developing, reviewing, and implementing risk assessments and safe work methods, identifying and reporting hazards and incidents, performing routine lab cleaning and maintenance, and supporting regulatory compliance and workplace safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualifications in human anatomy or a related field, along with relevant experience or a combination of both.
  • Proven expertise and familiarity with equipment used in Human Anatomy laboratories.
  • Demonstrated experience in anatomy teaching and/or research laboratories, with knowledge of related policies and procedures.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination and demonstrated serology.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, and an established track record of exercising judgment and initiative in complex work environments.
