Event Management Position

The Event Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless event execution from setup to service and pack down. This position is responsible for leading banquet teams, managing inventory and logistics, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit expertise in executing events to the highest standards, aligning with Banquet Event Orders and guest expectations.
  • Lead and motivate banquet leaders and service staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Monitor financials, control beverage inventory, and manage departmental assets efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough pre-event inspections to ensure rooms are impeccably set and maintained.
  • Schedule staff to meet service standards while optimizing profitability and productivity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all banquet areas, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure flawless event execution.
  • Attend and lead key meetings including BEO reviews, pre-cons, and daily stand-ups to discuss event progress and plans.
  • Act as a liaison between kitchen teams and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless food and beverage service.
  • Project supply needs and manage orders for equipment and presentation materials to support event delivery.
  • Promote guest satisfaction and respond to feedback with professionalism and care, upholding the highest standards of customer service.
  • Educate staff on operational standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and excellence across all events.
