The CSA Mine in Cobar, NSW, is an exceptional copper mine boasting impressive production rates.

Our mine stands tall as one of the deepest underground mines in Australia, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The team is comprised of over 500 skilled professionals, including contractors.

We seek recent graduates or students nearing completion of their degree to join our Technical Services team at our operation in Cobar NSW.

This opportunity provides hands-on experience and mentorship in a fast-paced underground mining environment. As part of our close-knit team, you'll work alongside experienced professionals dedicated to developing the next generation of mining talent.

We're looking for candidates with a strong foundation in:

  • Mining Engineering
  • Geotechnical / Geological Engineering

Upon joining our team, you'll gain valuable experience in:

  • Underground mine design, scheduling, and production planning
  • Ground support design, monitoring, and geotechnical risk management
  • Exposure to cutting-edge mining software and data-driven decision making
  • Working in a collaborative team with strong mentoring support
  • For mining engineers, this is a direct line for practical underground experience towards completion of a Mine Manager's ticket

Residential arrangements will be provided for successful applicants. We also offer relocation assistance to aid your transition to Cobar.
