We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Program Leader to spearhead high-impact projects that shape the future of our work in Queensland.
About the Role- The ideal candidate will lead a team to manage, monitor and review projects, programs and systems that directly support government priorities and programs across employment and training.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and practices that promote best practice across departmental operations, including program delivery, stakeholder engagement and events.
- Carry out performance reporting and analysis using contemporary recording and frameworks to guide strategic decisions, resource management and local planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Lead a team to deliver high-impact projects and programs that meet government priorities and objectives.
- Policies and Practices: Develop, implement and monitor policies and practices that promote best practice across departmental operations.
- Performance Reporting: Carry out performance reporting and analysis to guide strategic decisions and resource management.
Requirements:
- High-level program and project management skills, along with expert knowledge of the vocational education and training (VET) sector in Queensland.
- Highly developed conceptual, analytical, research and computer skills, as demonstrated by your ability to analyse information, data and trends; present findings through reports and presentations; and contribute to department objectives.
- The ability to build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure business objectives are achieved and performance targets are met.
