This is a permanent part-time position, working 3 days per week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday). As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for managing the back-of-house function, ensuring accuracy of records and stock integrity, and maintaining an efficient flow of merchandise from the storeroom to the sales floor.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Unpacking and Organizing Merchandise: Unpack, label, and organize merchandise in an efficient and orderly manner.
  2. Receiving and Processing Deliveries: Receive and process incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy of items and quantities.
  3. Inventory Management: Commit to a safety-first culture, both for staff and customers by ensuring all OH&S standards are upheld, and maintain accurate inventory records using Inwards/Outwards Goods Register.
  4. Customer Service: Provide friendly customer service, support customers with pickups of their purchased items, and maintain store floor and stockroom standards.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of retail storeroom experience
  • Customer service orientation and work experience highly desirable
  • Variety of machinery use, such as Pallet Jack, Walkie Stacker, WAVe, trolley
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and point-of-sale systems
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, squat, bend, and lift up to 15kg
