
Building Infrastructure Leader

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to be part of the start-up of a new mine in the Hunter Valley. As a Supervisor Infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the surface infrastructure that supports the underground mine.
The project has commenced construction with production planned of up to 8 million tonnes of coal per annum. With a long life, the underground mine targets high quality coal, with the majority being metallurgical coal.
As the Supervisor Infrastructure, your duties will include:
- Maintaining surface infrastructure that supports the underground mine.
- Supervising maintenance of assets including mobile equipment, buildings, surface electrical infrastructure, surface water reticulation, sewerage, access road.
- Inspecting and maintaining records for prescribed dams on site.
- Coordinating introduction to site for surface equipment.
- Conducting workplace inspections of areas of responsibility consistent with the Mine Inspection Plan.
- Budgeting, reviewing and controlling costs for maintenance activities.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Trade or tertiary qualifications in a mechanical or electrical related discipline.
- Maintenance and coal experience.
- Contractor management skills.
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

About the Role
