Infrastructure Engineer Position
Commerce is a leading ecommerce platform that empowers merchants to sell more at every stage of growth.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will work as part of our Infrastructure Engineering team to design and build the underlying technology stack that powers Commerce stores.
We're looking for an experienced candidate with a blended set of skills in software engineering and web operations to join us.
Key responsibilities include:
Applying software engineering and SRE principles to build, maintain, monitor and operate complex infrastructure
Working closely with software engineers to help glue infrastructure and software together
Assisting in defining the scope of projects
Driving issues to completion and marshaling resources in high-pressure situations
Our ideal candidate possesses some or all of the following skills:
6+ years of experience in building software for operating and supporting large Linux based web application environments
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with geographically distributed teams
Passion for learning and curiosity when working with new technologies or languages
