Heavy Rail Portfolio Manager

This is a strategic leadership role that offers the opportunity to gain expertise and develop diverse skills in asset management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic management of Heavy Rail Facilities & Property across Transport frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and ensure accuracy, compliance, and currency of Asset Registers across the asset class.
- Develop evidence-based business cases, reports, and recommendations by analysing data, assessing risks, evaluating costs, and consulting stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop integrated investment plans aligned with long-term infrastructure strategies, system reliability, and funding considerations.
- Provide technical assurance on safety, environmental, maintenance, and operational performance of the asset class.
- You should have extensive experience in strategic asset management, preferably within heavy rail or transport infrastructure sectors.
- Strong skills are required in risk assessment, business case development, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
- A proven ability to lead integrated investment planning and deliver complex asset management plans is essential.
