About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator to join our Out-of-School-Hours (OSH) team at YMCA NSW. As an Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to primary school-age children in our Before School, After School, and Vacation Care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging and inclusive program activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Supervise and interact with children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and OSH Coordinators to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
  • Contribute to the development of our programs and services, ensuring they meet the needs of children and families.
About You

We are looking for an Educator who is passionate about working with children, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children in an educational or care setting.
  • Ability to follow safeguarding priorities and maintain confidentiality.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including before and after school care, and school holidays.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
