About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultant to join our team at IPAR. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Regional Team Leader and State Manager in managing our customer network and improving team knowledge and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational rehabilitation and a proven track record of delivering exceptional outcomes for clients. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers, providing return to work services, vocational counselling, job placement, and assessment services across various schemes, including Workcover, Com Care, DVA, and Life Insurance industries.

As a Principal Consultant, you will be expected to work autonomously while contributing to a team culture and growth. You will be a 'go-to' person internally and externally, and your ability to build strong relationships with key customers will be essential in growing our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of customers and provide return to work services, vocational counselling, job placement, and assessment services
  • Work with the Regional Team Leader and State Manager to improve team knowledge and efficiency
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and grow our services
  • Contribute to the development of others and be a 'go-to' person internally and externally
Requirements
  • Professional Registration with either AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, or AASW
  • Allied Health Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, or Social Work
  • A minimum of two years of occupational rehabilitation or claims management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage additional responsibilities while maintaining an active caseload
  • Proven ability to exceed performance targets, including RTW, Quality, and Service Delivery KPIs
