Job Opportunity: STEM Educator/Coding Teacher. We provide full training for an entry-point to a career in education and technology.

About the Role: We are seeking enthusiastic individuals passionate about STEM education to join our team as casual educators. This position offers excellent training, making it a fantastic starting point for those interested in both education and technology.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand and execute educational procedures, including classroom setup and presentation.
  • Prepare classrooms before lessons for an optimal learning environment.
  • Lead and engage groups of children (ages 5-15) during school holiday camps and after-school classes.
  • Effectively communicate with students, parents, and team members.
  • Explain coding concepts using simplified software and curriculum.
  • Deliver high-quality care and education to all students.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Background in Coding, preferably block coding, Java, or Python (no tertiary qualifications required).
  • Possess a passion for STEM education and hands-on learning.
  • Able to connect and communicate effectively with students and parents.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to innovative teaching methods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
