Job Title: Equine Care Professional

The successful applicant will be responsible for the daily care of horses, including feeding, grooming, mucking out stables and monitoring their health. The role also includes preparing horses for breeding, sales, and shows as well as assisting with veterinary and farrier visits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily horse care activities such as feeding, grooming and mucking out stables
  • Monitoring horse health and reporting any issues to management
  • Preparing horses for breeding, sales and shows
  • Assisting with veterinary and farrier visits
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with horse handling, feeding and grooming
  • Knowledge of stable maintenance and mucking out
  • Familiarity with equine health and first aid
  • Ability to assist with breeding, preparation for sales and shows
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot health issues in horses
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding physical tasks
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Certificate in Equine Studies or similar qualifications are beneficial
