Catholic Healthcare is seeking an experienced RAC Funding Specialist to join their Aged Care Assessment Services team in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting Residential Aged Care (RAC) Funding Assessments using the AN-ACC Assessment Tool.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline and relevant current and unrestricted AHPRA registration. They will also possess demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Act, AN-ACC Classification principles, and Quality of Care principles.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that offers flexibility and autonomy, with the ability to work independently in a geographically dispersed team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be technologically savvy, and have a current unrestricted Class C NSW/ACT drivers' license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct RAC Funding Assessments for new residents, respite care, reconsideration, and palliative care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality services are delivered
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline
  • Relevant current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Act, AN-ACC Classification principles, and Quality of Care principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technological proficiency and ability to work autonomously
  • Current unrestricted Class C NSW/ACT drivers' license
