At EACH Victoria, we are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team of Allied Health professionals in a rewarding role as an Early Years Specialist.

About the Role

This is a full-time or part-time position (4 days) available until 30 June 2025. As an Early Years Specialist, you will deliver supports in partnership with families to help them achieve their goals using evidence-informed best practice.

  • You will use assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family.
  • You will empower families, caregivers, and professionals by helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives.
  • You will connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.

In this role, you will also keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals in the NDIA business system, and guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.

Requirements
  • You must have a degree qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • You should have expert knowledge in child development and early intervention along with the ability to identify developmental issues.
  • You should have a proven track record building relationships and supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
  • You should have comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
