Speech Language Therapist

Job Role Summary:
This position is responsible for delivering high-quality patient services in speech language pathology. The role involves providing diagnostic assessments, consultations and treatments to patients.
Main Responsibilities:
- To provide direct patient care services including diagnosis, assessment and treatment of communication disorders
- To participate in departmental programs that promote excellence in patient care
- To work collaboratively as an interdisciplinary team member promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability
- To maintain current knowledge of clinical practices and procedures in speech language pathology
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent qualification
- Relevant internship or placement education experience
- Current registration with relevant professional organization required
- Demonstrated expertise in facilitating various modes of service delivery for treatment (individual and group)
- Commitment to standards of excellence and accountability within established professional standards
