Senior Associate Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned banking professional to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Associate, you will be involved in advising clients on complex financial transactions and projects.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in banking and finance transactions, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with clients, including banks, corporate borrowers, and investment banks, to provide expert advice and guidance.

  • Your responsibilities will include advising on project financing, structured trade financing, and corporate and institutional financing for various sectors.
  • You will work on cross-border and domestic transactions, handling a varied and challenging workload.

In this role, you will also be required to collaborate with colleagues globally, working as part of a tight-knit team to deliver high-quality results. To succeed in this position, you must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have the ability to build strong relationships with clients.

Key Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in banking and finance transactions at a reputable law firm.
  • A minimum of 5+ years post-qualification experience is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with multiple partners.
  • Eligibility to practice law in Australia.
