Job Title: Recreation Facilities and Services Coordinator
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Recreation Facilities and Services Coordinator. This role involves managing projects, developing policies, and building relationships with community groups to enhance recreation spaces and boost participation in sport and recreation.
About the Role:
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading projects that build the capacity of local Committees of Management, developing policies and guidelines for recreation facilities and services, supporting the planning, design, and delivery of key recreation projects, and building positive relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with committees and stakeholders to develop project plans and ensure successful project outcomes
- Develop and implement policies and standards for recreation facilities and services
- Support the development of recreation projects through research and analysis
- Build strong relationships with community groups, lessees, and stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
Tertiary qualification or experience in recreation planning or a related field
Strong project management and communication skills
Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and committees
Excellent analytical and organisational skills
