This is a unique chance to make a difference in the lives of others by supporting their dining experiences. As a Cafe Attendant, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere during meal times.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals, chopping vegetables, assembling salads, portioning food, and preparing simple dishes under supervision.
  • Serving Meals: Help serve meals to residents during meal times, ensuring each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.
  • Dining Area Setup: Set up dining areas before meal times, ensuring tables are clean, and all necessary items like cutlery, plates, and glasses are in place.
  • Cleaning and Hygiene: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
  • Resident Interaction: Interact with residents in a friendly and courteous manner during meal times, addressing their needs and requests as required.

Requirements:

  • A valid Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Previous experience as a Barista.
  • An adaptable attitude, passion for the role, and willingness to learn.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Friendly and effective communication skills.
