Operational Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Coordinator to oversee the safe, efficient movement of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from site. This role requires strong leadership and supervisory skills with demonstrated experience managing teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate logistics operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Manage staff schedules, performance, and training to ensure productivity and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules with carriers and internal stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve logistics issues, discrepancies, or delays in shipping and receiving.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics, KPIs, and cost efficiency.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with demonstrated experience managing teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in warehouse and inventory management systems.
- Ability to analyse logistics data to improve operational efficiency.
- Competent in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and logistics tracking software.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment and materials advantageous.
