Front of House Position

We are seeking dedicated and skilled professionals to join our team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant in Brisbane. Our ideal candidates will be passionate about delivering exceptional service, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Waiter:
    • Supervise the front-of-house team to ensure impeccable service and a seamless dining experience.
    • Coordinate and manage daily operations, including staff assignments and guest service protocols.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism.
    • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
    • Train and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Sommelier:
    • Curate and manage wine selection, ensuring a diverse and high-quality choice that complements the menu.
    • Provide expert wine recommendations and pairings to guests, enhancing their dining experience.
    • Conduct wine tastings and stay updated on industry trends and new releases.
    • Manage wine inventory, including ordering and storage, to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Train and educate front-of-house staff on wine knowledge and service standards.
  • Section Waiters:
    • Deliver exceptional service to guests, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any needs throughout the meal.
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings.
    • Uphold the restaurant's standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service flow.
    • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with a positive and proactive approach.
