About the Role

The role involves working in a fast-paced environment serving customers and ensuring they have an excellent dining experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly.
  4. Learn and apply food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
  5. Assist with inventory management and restock supplies as needed.
  6. Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the register efficiently.
  7. Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve restaurant goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Availability to work on Friday afternoons/evenings and across the weekend.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Prior experience in a fast-food restaurant is advantageous but not essential.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Fulfillment of Food Safety Certificate requirements through the I'm Alert Food Safety Course (free online).
  • Valid working rights, including passport and visa grant for international workers.
  • Obligation to obtain an RSA Certificate within 30 days of commencing employment.
