Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team at Fortinet as a Major Accounts Manager. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing and driving direct sales engagements into a set of Named Government Accounts and strategic Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating Defence and Government business opportunities and managing the sales process through to closure of the sale.
  • Achievement of agreed quarterly sales goals.
  • Generate a sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline.
  • Selling Fortinet's entire security portfolio and maintaining relationships with all levels of management across an allocated set of agencies.
  • Responsible for expanding Fortinet's footprint in the assigned agencies and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience selling to Public Sector agencies.
  • Minimum 3 years selling network cyber security products and services.
  • Proven ability to sell solutions to Public Sector (defence and intelligence) agencies.
  • A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
  • Experience in closing large contracts over 1 million USD.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills to executives & individual stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle.
  • Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Competitive, Self-starter, Hunter-type mentality.
  • BS or equivalent experience, graduate degree preferred.
  • Baseline security clearance required.
