Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to provide personal care and support to clients in their homes.

This is a casual opportunity working as part of our Community Nursing & Personal Care Program. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will work with clients receiving support through various programs.

  • Home Care Packages/Support at Home
  • Transition Care Program
  • Department of Veterans' Affairs

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assistance with personal care and daily living activities
  • Offering respite and companionship
  • Transport and community access
  • Low-level therapeutic rehabilitation
  • Supporting clients to remain independent at home

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A warm and professional approach to care
  • A genuine desire to work in rural and regional communities
  • Minimum Certificate III in Aged and Community Services (or equivalent)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts and locations on a casual basis
