About Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, a popular tourist destination and crown jewel of the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) properties, we are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Executive Chef in planning food preparation and directing culinary activities
  • Supervise kitchen staff for smooth operations
  • Maintain consistency and presentation of dishes
  • Help manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of kitchen supplies and ingredients
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Requirements
  • Experience working in commercial kitchens with attention to detail and positive attitude
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in fast-paced kitchens
  • Formal culinary training or relevant certifications preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
