A dedicated and compassionate professional is sought to provide evidence-based clinical services in a dynamic multidisciplinary team setting. As a Drug & Alcohol Clinician, you will play a vital role in delivering community drug health and addiction recovery services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, case management, counseling, group work, and health promotion for clients referred to the Centre for Addiction Medicine or other sites within Western Sydney Local Health District.
- Deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed care that adheres to harm reduction principles.
- Collaborate with a supportive team to support recovery and health outcomes for clients.
- Tertiary qualifications in Counselling or a related field are essential.
- Bachelor Degree in Counselling or a related field with experience working with drug and alcohol clients is required.
- Experience delivering evidence-based interventions for substance use issues and/or comorbid mental health problems is necessary.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with comprehensive assessment and treatment planning skills is crucial.
- Fulfilling role in a dynamic multidisciplinary team setting.

- Competitive salary range: $73,427 - $104,753 per annum.
- 38 hours per week.
- Ability to build professional therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel to other sites across WSLHD.
