Product Designer

We are seeking a talented and passionate Product Designer to join our growing team at Easygo, based in Melbourne. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our products, collaborating closely with designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to craft a cohesive and compelling user interface that aligns with our brand values and resonates with our users.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Intuitive User Interfaces: Design and develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Utilise best practices in UI design, keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Conduct User Research and Usability Testing: Conduct user research and usability testing to understand the needs, behaviours, and pain points of our target audience to inform design decisions.
- Design for Multiple Platforms: Ensure that the UI is responsive, adapting designs to accommodate various screen sizes and orientations, and also designing for platform-specific apps such as iOS and Android.
- Define and Document Design Components: Define and document design components and patterns for consistent and scalable application across different platforms using Figma.
- Create Interactive Prototypes: Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate the functionality and animations.
- Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design components.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and align design solutions with business goals.
- Present Design Concepts: Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.
- Advocate for User-Centred Design: Advocate for user-centred design principles and ensure that design decisions are rooted in user needs and business objectives.
- Participate in Design Sprints: Participate in design sprints, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to foster a collaborative and creative design culture.
- Minimum 3 Years Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience as a Product Designer, with a strong focus on UI design.
- Portfolio and Design Skills: A portfolio showcasing a range of UI design projects and the ability to explain design decisions.
- User-Centred Design Principles: Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
- Design Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and rationale.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Desirable Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
