Job Description:

The key responsibility of this role is to deliver a strategic framework at a local government level via data analysis and interpretation to ensure the health and sustainability of tennis across all local government areas in regional Victoria.

This includes upgrades to current clubs/venues and provision of future clubs/venues via network planning. A project pipeline for regional Victoria should be top of mind in all discussions and understanding needs for regional Victoria.

  • Collaborate with councils and key tennis networks by developing positive relationships within the region to influence, adapt, and drive change.
  • Identify current and future trends for tennis within and across councils and work with stakeholders to ensure this is considered in any region-wide planning.
  • Maximise funding, facility improvement, and program support opportunities through effective collaboration with staff managing club and venue relationships.
  • Conduct regular reviews and realignment of plans with councils to ensure objectives are met in the region.
  • Work with councils to establish new clubs at new venues and appropriate network planning.
